Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to join our team. As a Support Worker, you will provide essential care and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, or dementia. Your role will involve assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs), providing direct support, and ensuring the well-being and comfort of our clients. Responsibilities
- Assist individuals with ADLs, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Provide direct support and companionship to individuals with developmental disabilities or autism
- Administer medications according to prescribed schedules and document any observed side effects
- Monitor vital signs and report any significant changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals
- Assist with mobility needs, including transferring and lifting individuals who may require assistance
- Implement care plans and follow specific instructions provided by healthcare professionals
- Engage in therapeutic activities to promote socialization and cognitive stimulation
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for individuals under your care

- Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, or dementia is preferred
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks as required
- Knowledge of caregiving techniques and best practices for patient care
- Familiarity with administering medications and monitoring vital signs is a plus
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Compassionate nature and genuine interest in supporting the well-being of others
- High school diploma or equivalent is required; additional certifications in healthcare or related fields are a plus
